PulseOS

A personal life-management system. Single user, not a product.

PulseOS is a private automation system built and used by one person. It reads a personal task list and calendar, proposes a plan for the day, and records decisions. It runs on that person's own computer. There is no hosted service, no sign-up, and no other users.

What it does

• Reads and writes calendar events to place time blocks for planned work.
• Reads and writes a personal task list.
• Presents a morning and evening review where each proposal is approved by hand.

Why it asks for Google access

The system places time blocks on Google Calendar, so it requests permission to view and edit calendar events. It also requests access to Google Tasks, which is being retired from the system. Both are used only to manage the account owner's own data.

Events created by PulseOS are marked with a private property so the system can tell its own blocks apart from events the owner created. It does not modify or delete events it did not create.
